  • Chamomile is a herb plant that is known and respected for its healing properties. It is gentle to the body but very potent and effective. As of now the Official medical documents and authorities have approved Chamomile to treat several medical conditions. for example Colic and indigestion, Muscle spasms, tension, inflammation and infection

History of Chamomile

  • Chamomile has been known used since ancient Egypt and Rome times. It was used by these two ancient cultures for tea, salves, creams, incense, and other beverages. Egyptians were known to prescribe it for cold.
  • There are several kinds of Chamomile, however, the most commonly used once for tea are the Roman and German chamomile. the main difference between these two is a perennial herb meaning that it comes back each year and German chamomile is annual which means it dies each year and you will have to replant yearly.
  • Taste is also a clear difference between the two plants. The Roman kind is bitter while the german kind is sweet. They are both however used for similar health conditions. The Roman kind is used more wildly because it is easy to grow while the <german one is less used due to its scarcity as it is difficult to grow.
  • Today Chamomile is known for it’s used to achieve good digestion for better gut health. It is cultivated and harvested for commercial used these days. It is good to consider adding chamomile as one of your detox agents while detoxing for anti-inflammation, expel waste, and better digestion purposes.
  • It is no secret that the gut lining absorbs the food we eat. In fact, it releases the proper enzymes to break down the food we eat and pass wast. When the gut and the digestive system are not taken care of. It can trigger inflammation which can lead to damage to eggs and sperm health.
  • For someone like me trying to conceive through IVF treatment. Fertility detox is one of my processes. It is important to eat the right kind of food to gently remove toxins out of the body in order to improve the whole system (gut health).

  • Chamomile contains a bitter principle known as Volatile Oil. This oil stimulates the bitter receptor at the back of the tongue. This process creates a series of physiological responses that aid in digestion and general health.
  • It stimulates the exocrine glade from the mouth, the stomach, the pancreas, the duodenum, and the liver helps in aiding in good digestion and distorted.
  • Liver activities are stimulated that helps free the bile from the gallbladder by increasing the bile production.
  • Peristalsis is stimulated which helps to move waste through the intestine.
  • It helps stimulates the gut wall self-repair mechanism as well.
